The Lake Kennedy Racquet Center, opening this Wednesday, features a snack shack that will soon offer beer and wine, alongside an outdoor gathering area equipped with cornhole and ping pong tables.
The facility will also include a racquets pro shop, with General Manager Tom Stegeman stating to WINK News that prices will be competitive with those at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Members can enjoy a 10 to 15 percent discount on purchases.
Players of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals, are invited to experience the new courts, which will be arranged to accommodate different levels of play.
Stegeman expressed his vision for the center as a new way to bring the community together.
“We’ve all heard stories about the divide between pickleball and tennis players. Our goal is to bridge that gap and create harmony among everyone,” Stegeman shared. “It’s a remarkable facility, especially for Cape Coral. I believe it’s something the city and its residents can truly be proud of.”
Located at 420 SW 2nd Avenue, the Lake Kennedy Racquet Center is open for membership registration. For more information, visit the Lake Kennedy Racquet Center registration page.
